From the 6-10th of September, a meeting took place at the Adventist school in Villa Aurora, in Florence. The meeting included 20 experts that came together to talk about the present and future of the language exchange and culture programs that are chaired by Dr. Barna Magyarosi, the Director of Education of the Inter-European Division.
The participants came from Adventist universities and language schools in England, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, USA, Brazil and Spain.
Besides some cultural and gastronomic tours to Florence and Vinci, participants also had two days of work on studying how to improve language teaching programs offered in our higher learning centers.
One of the organizations that participated in the meeting, included Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA). For over 50 years ACA has been providing secure language learning programs. ACA has also contributed greatly to the understanding of different cultures of our society.
The last day included a tour of a new building built in Villa Aurora in which there are 31 double rooms that serve families of patients in nearby hospitals as well as organized groups who decided to visit the amazing city of Florence.
